Doctoral and Supervisor Day Health Care Science October 2025
A Day of Insight and Inspiration - On October 13, the annual PhD Student and Supervisor Day, hosted by PUF-V and FiH, brought together nearly 60 participants for a dynamic and enriching experience. Attendees explored topics ranging from stress management and mechanisms of change to career development and effective networking, all delivered through engaging and insightful presentations.

The day began with a session on stress management, led by Rasmus Nylander, Health Promotion Specialist from KI Health Hub. This session included engaging practical exercises that encouraged active participation. It was followed by an insightful lecture on the mechanisms of change by Markus Sarajärvi, PhD, researcher at the Division of Nursing, NVS.
After a well-deserved lunch break with opportunities for informal networking, the afternoon continued with an inspiring talk on career paths and networking by Professor Carl Johan Sundberg from the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics.
Plenty of questions were asked throughout the day, and we wrapped up with a dedicated one-hour networking session, which we hope was both useful and fruitful — and that many new connections were made!
Thanks to everyone who joined and helped make the day so engaging — we hope to see you again next year!
