    patients

Research

  • I am committed to the exploration of pathogenesis and treatments of Multiple
Sclerosis (MS) which is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system
(CNS) affecting young adults in their most productive age. Both genetic and
environmental factors contribute to MS etiology, we therefore primarily focus
on epigenetic change and downstream influence in pathogenic immune cells.
DNA methylation, small RNA, and gene expression of cerebrospinal fluid
cells, memory B cells, and subtypes of T cells were reliably observed to
contribute to the MS pathogenesis and effect of treatments.
