Jag är professor i klinisk immunologi vid Institutionen för medicinsk biokemi och biofysik, Karolinska Institutet.

Jag utbildades som läkare och tog examen från Sun Yat-Sen Medical University i Kina 1993. Under 1993 och 1994 arbetade jag som läkare vid Guangzhou Respiratory Disease Research Institute. Jag fick doktorsexamen i klinisk immunologi vid Karolinska Institutet 1999 och genomförde sedan postdocutbildning på Harvard Medical School 2000. Under 2001 kom jag tillbaka till Karolinska Institutet där jag blev docent och gruppledare 2004. Jag blev utnämnd till professor i klinisk immunologi vid Karolinska Institutet 2011.
