About me

  • My work is grounded in a commitment to improving mental health for women and individuals with disabilities—particularly those who face persistent health inequities and whose needs are often overlooked in both research and healthcare.

As a postdoctoral researcher in the Women's Mental Health Epidemiology group at IMM, with a background in psychiatric epidemiology, I focus on understanding and addressing the factors that contribute to sex disparities in mental health. I completed my PhD at Karolinska Institutet, where I investigated sex differences in mental health among autistic young adults. My research draws on large register-based studies to explore women’s mental health, with a particular focus on reproductive health in women with neurodevelopmental conditions—especially autism and ADHD. Through this work, I aim to better characterize reproductive health in this population and identify underlying causes and consequences, with the ultimate goal of improving care and reducing health inequalities.
