Michael Bretthauer

I am affiliated with the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MEB) at KI. My main collaborators at MEB are Prof. Weimin Ye and Prof. em. Hans-Olov Adami.

My main research activities at MEB are clinical trials and observational studies in colorectal cancer screening and polyp surveillance, such as the Nordic-European Inititiative on Colorectal Cancer (NordICC) and the European Polyp Surveillance (EPoS) trials. 

My main affiliation are at the University of Oslo as tenured professor of medicine, and as gastroenterologist at Oslo University Hospital, Norway.

I am Associate Editor at Annals of Internal Medicine.
