About me

  • I am a post doctoral fellow in the group Epidemiology of Psychiatric
    Conditions, Substance use and Social Environment (EPICSS), at the department
    for Global Public Health. I am also a clinical psychologist and work
    clinically in specialist addiction care at Riddargatan 1, mottagningen för

Research

  • My research focuses around development, effects and long-term outcomes of  

  • health care intervention to prevent and treat alcohol use disorders. My main  
  • focus is on individuals with moderate severity of alcohol dependence.

     

  • Moreover, I lead projects on the utilization of evidence-based treatments. I am also interested in treatment seeking for alcohol use disorders and  

  • interventions to increase treatment seeking with special focus on stigma.

Teaching

  • My teaching mainly focusses around epidemiology, prevention and treatment of
    alcohol use disorders.
    I teach at:
    - Clinical Psychologist program at Karolinska Institutet
    - Center for Psychiatry Research in Stockholm, mainly health care staff
