Samuelle Fajutrao Falk
PhD student in Tammimies Lab studying the role of genetics in mental health outcomes among individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
I am a PhD student in the Tammimies Lab, Center of Neurodevelopmental Disorders at Karolinska Institutet (KIND), Department of Women's and Children's Health, Karolinska Institutet. Additionally, I am also a psychiatry resident at North Stockholm Psychiatry.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I conducted my medical studies in various universities in Europe. I commenced my medical studies at the University of St Andrews, UK (2011-2014) graduating with a BSc Medicine Hons. Thereafter, I continued my studies at the University of Manchester (2014-2015) but ultimately deciding to finish them at Linköping University (2016-2019).
My doctoral project aims to investigate genetics' role in mental health outcomes among individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism and developmental language disorder.
