I obtained a PhD in Physiology, 1999 at Karolinska Institutet with the titel: Effects of physical activity and gravitational stress on cardiovascular control. The medical degree (M.D) was received 2001 also at the Karolinska Institute. Between 2003 and 2012 I worked at the European Space Agency being responsible för human physiology research, both in space and for ground-based activities. Between 2013 to 2016 I was employed as a researcher at the the dep. oo environmental physiology at the Royal School of Technology in Stockholm, where I became associate professor in 2016. Since 2016 I'm employed as lecturer at the Karolinska Institutet and as a MD at the Karolinska University Hospital.
