As a PhD student in Olli Kallioniemi group under the guidance of the esteemed Brinton Seashore-Ludlow, I'm employing cutting-edge deep neural networks to analyze high throughput drug screening dataset for ovarian cancer cell lines. My research aims to uncover the intricate morphological changes in the cancer population when subjected to drug treatment, paving the way for more effective and targeted cancer therapies.
My research focuses on studying the morphological changes in ovarian cancer cell lines when exposed to drugs, utilizing cutting-edge deep neural networks in conjunction with established image analysis tools like ImageJ and cellprofiler. By analyzing high throughput drug screening datasets, I aim to identify key morphological features of cancer cells that respond to drug treatment, ultimately providing insights into the mechanisms of drug action and enabling the development of more effective and targeted cancer therapies.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka, India. I further pursued my education with a Master's degree in Medical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in Image Analysis and Computer Vision.
