Dr. Grudzinska Pechhacker has been staff ophthalmologist since 2016. Her career focuses on inherited eye disorders with emphasis on inherited retinal conditions. She is passionately dedicated to improve diagnostics and management strategies for patients with genetic eye disorders. She was further trained in clinical visual electrophysiology (Moorfields Eye Hospital, UK) and recently underwent one year structured fellowship in Ocular Genetics and Electrophysiology under supervision of Prof. Elise Heon and Dr. Ajoy Vincent at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Grudzinska Pechhacker's goal is to establish a program providing a comprehensive assessment, genetic testing and counseling of patients affected with inherited eye disorders with focus on conditions when clinical genetic testing did not identify the disease-causing variant(s).
