Om mig

Mikael är gästprofessor vid Aging Research Center (ARC). Han var prefekt vid Institutionen för folkhälsovetenskap mellan 2018 och 2023 och föreståndare för Centre for Health Equity Studies (CHESS) mellan 2016-2018. Mikael leder ett stort forskningsprogram finansierat av FORTE "Sociala determinanter för hälsa hos individer med utländsk bakgrund: Samhälleliga och individuella perspektiv” (SMASH). Han leder också forskningsprojektet ”Förlust av anhörig och psykisk ohälsa under Corona pandemin: En flermetodologisk ansats” finansierat av Vetenskapsrådet.
