I am a PhD-student since 2017 and a rheumatologist, working in at the Rheumatology Department at Karolinska University Hospital since 2012.
Forskningsbeskrivning
My research is focused on different aspects of comorbidities in patients with early RA. In my research projects I have studied the presence of comorbidities in patients compared to controls at RA onset and how comorbidities might affect treatment choice in early RA. In the upcoming projects I will examine the role of comorbidities in early RA disease activity and response to methotrexate treatment and develop a risk matrix for likelihood of treatment response, incorporating comorbidities as potential predictors.
