I am a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet since December 2017 based in Flemingsberg, Huddinge, Stockholm.
My doctoral studies focus on younger children´s physical activity behavior and I was registered with the project title “Physical activity in early childhood – Levels, patterns and correlates“. Targeting to investigate the levels and patterns of physical activity among toddlers and preesholers. More over, to examine the longitudinal changes in physical activity, sedentary behavior and body mass index (BMI), tracking for possible predictors of PA beahavior in 2-6 year old children.
This project is a substudy within the Early Stockholm Obesity Prevention Project (Early STOPP) with the primary aim to investigate if an individualized coaching intervention can prevent childhood obesity.

I am passionate about teaching and the human learning mechanisms. Regardless teaching children adolescents or adults, to convey knowledge is an amazing feeling.
My teaching is primarily focused on children’s physical activity and sedentary behavior but also childhood obesity and more exact childhood obesity prevention. Right now I am lecturing on the KI course “Barnfetma – orsaker, risker och åtgärder”.
