Om mig

I have a background in pharmacy/pharmacology and completed my Ph.D. at the Institute of Systems Neuroscience at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (Director: Christian Buechel) in 2012.

In  2013 I started at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience as a post-doctoral fellow in the EmotionLab headed by Andreas Olsson.

My overreaching key interest is to understand mechanisms of affective learning and their consequences for human behavior. In particular, my aims are focused on fear and extinction memory and their modulation in social situations and/or psychopharmacological challenges

I am working with behavioral and psychophysiological measurements as well as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in humans with a strong translational focus on animal models to address these objectives.

Selected Publications:

Enhancement of Extinction memory through L-DOPA

Models of Fear Reinstatement in Humans
