Post doc at Dpt of Electrophysiology, House Ear Institute, Los Angeles, USA, aug 1999 – july 2000, studying central auditory processes in deaf children after cochlear implantation.
In research projects, cortical evoked auditory potentials (CAEP) have been studied to understand the relation between central auditory pathways and speech development and to study the impact of phonological training. Lately, Inger Uhlén has been PI for KI in a Horizon 2020 project "EUSCREEN", investigating hearing and vision screening programs for children in Europe.
