Om mig
A sociologist (MSc) and an epidemiologist (PhD), I am currently employed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, in the Danish Research Centre for Migration, Ethnicity and Health. My research focus is on the early life courses of refugee children, especially those growing up the Nordic countries, with a particular interest in how the post-settlement context structures their life chances in terms of health, education and employment. As a member of the REMAIN (Refugee Minors and Integration) research consortium, I collaborate with Professor Ellenor Mittendorfer-Rutz and colleagues at Karolinska Institutet on comparative studies of social integration and treatment trajectories among young refugees with mental ill-health in Denmark and Sweden.
