Om mig

  • I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Rare Diseases Group at the Department
of Molecular Medicine and Surgery. My research interest focus on
the etiology of neurodevelopmental disorders, and I am currently working
on projects exploring behavioral phenotypes and brain aberrations in rare
    genetic syndromes with intellectual disability.
My background is in clinical psychology. I did my psychology studies (MSc)
at Lund University (2003-2008), followed by a semester working as
a research assistent at the Dept of Psychology at UC Berkeley in
California. I thereafter moved to Stockholm for my clinical training in
Child and Youth Psychiatry, and got my psychologist license in 2009.
In 2011, I joined Sven Bölte's group at the Center for Neurodevelopmental
Disorders at Karolinska Institutet (KIND). My work at KIND focused on
biological and behavioral markes of neurodevelopmental disorders in twins,
and I finished my PhD on this topic in 2017. Currently, I am dividing my time
between clinical work with neuropsychiatric assessments in children and
adolescents and research on rare genetic syndromes.
