About me

I am a public health scientist and epidemiologist by training. Currently based on the Unit of Occupational Medicine, Institute of Environmental Medicine.

Research

My main research interests lie at the intersection between mental health, physical health, and social welfare. Using both Swedish national registers and surveys, I have been focusing on the following research area:
- Mental health outcomes among healthcare and social care workers
- Working-life expectancy among workers with various mental and somatic health conditions
- Parental mental disorders and the consequences for children's physical health and social outcomes
- Mental disorders as risk factors for somatic disorders
- Risk factors and consequences of road traffic injuries
